A 450 Pound Man Did Not Eat Food For Over A Year And He Lost 275 Pounds

In June of 1965, a 27-year-old man weighing 456 pounds walked into the University of Dundee in Scotland looking for help.
Doctors recommended a drastic course of action: stop eating altogether.
Patient A.B., as doctors referred to him in the case report, responded to so well to the fasting that they decided to prolong it while regularly monitoring his health. They warned A.B. that it was dangerous to fast for long periods of time, but he wanted to keep going.
Days without food turned into weeks. Weeks turned into months.
Regular blood-sugar tests assured doctors that he wasn't eating. Doctors collected urine samples every 24 hours. He only defacated once every 37-48 days.
He took a multi-vitamin every day and was given potassium and sodium supplements when necessary. He was only allowed to drink noncaloric fluids, such as coffee, tea, and sparkling water.
On July 11, 1966, A.B reached his goal weight of 180 pounds. He did not eat food for 382 days (one year and 17 days) and lost 275.5 pounds.
Five years later, doctors followed up with A.B and found that he'd kept almost all the weight he'd lost off, weighing in at 196 pounds.

Vikram Panchal of The National Institute of Design (NID) created this masterpiece and priced it at a miniscule cost of Rs. 300. This is probably the best load carrier for manual labour ever created.
This can be used for lifting different kind of heavy materials in a very easy and simple way.
2. Battery charging using leaves
Though it is unbelievable but the residents of Chitrakoot came to know about the discovery. Yes you can charge your mobile battery using people leaves.
It is very easy process to charge. You would have to open your mobile battery and connect it with peepal leaf. After that without shaking mobile set you should set the battery in your mobile set. After some time your mobile would be charged.
3. Mitti-cool village fridge.
Now a day’s refrigerator is one of the essential needs of all human beings for storage of things for long time. But it is not possible for all to buy this and many times it is using electricity hence many don’t even have that. So what to do then the person name Mansukhbhai Prajapati invented this cool stuff.
This is the fridge for the common man that doesn't require electricity. Indian inventor Mansukhbhai Prajapati poses with his "Mitti-Cool (Mud Cool) Village Fridge" in Ahmedabad which works on the principle of evaporation.
2. Remote controlled tiller for farmers.
In this 21st century where in one side countries are busy in making nuclear bombs for destruction of this beautiful world but some of the down to earth people are inventing some of the cool gadgets for the society to leave environment friendly life so that all will get benefitted from it without damaging the Mother Nature.
While others are busy creating drones, an Indian came up with a remote controlled tiller for farmers. Prajwal Kumars this invention is helpful for the farmers in many ways. This awesome invention won the British High Commission's "Best Electronic Product Award (Agriculture)" for 2010.
Water Purification at a Nanoscale Level
In 2015, Dr. Suryasarathi Bose, Assistant Professor of Department of Materials Engineering and a team invented a water purifying system that could even eliminate harmful bacteria at a nanoscale level. The filter consisted of a porous membrane made of two polymers, along with minute quantities of silver, titanium dioxide and carbon nanotubes. The pores filter out the micron-sized bacteria, while the silver-titanium-carbon mixture kills the bacteria.

The World's Tallest Man Hung Out With The World's Shortest Woman And The Photos Are Fantastic
The world's tallest man met the world's shortest woman on January 27 in Egypt for an event organized by the Egyptian Culture Ministry.

Kösen is approximately four times Amge's height.
